Free access to Lynda.com tutorials and courses is provided with many junior college and university classes. As a learning reference, this access is reserved for registered students and instructors. But what about everyone else?
While researching related posts, we discovered that if you live in the United States you may be able to get free access to Lynda’s courses. All you need to have is a card to your local Public Library!
You can check for yourself with your County Library’s website and see if they offer access.
We found that residents in the Maryland counties and the District of Columbia listed below can get FREE access to the Lynda.com collection of courses. You need a “digital” version of your county Library Card and a PIN, which is available online. Pick up your “physical” card the next time you visit your local Library.
Now the bad news. Alas, you will notice that not every county in Maryland offers access to Lynda’s materials.
If you live in another state, please check with your local public library to see if you too can get free access to Lynda’s amazing catalog of online courses.
Have your digital Library card handy and click on the appropriate link below.
